Personalized
nutrition counseling

As a clinical nutritionist with an integrative and functional approach to wellness, I am passionate about understanding the whole person, and incorporating aspects of mind, body, and spirit into practice. I want to know your story, where you've been, and where you want to go on your health journey.

I spend time with clients to explore the relationships among diet, lifestyle, biological, and environmental factors in order to uncover the root cause of health disorders. I understand that each individual is unique, so I follow a personalized approach to health care, which may include dietary changes, lifestyle adjustments, stress management, and the use of whole food supplements.

Through practical solutions, education, and accountability, I provide one on one and group counseling to help clients reach their goals and make lasting lifestyle changes.

Healthy living is simple. Your body knows how to be healthy. When you give it what it needs, it can do what it was designed to do."

My journey to health

Throughout my teens and twenties, I struggled with hormonal imbalances that affected my health. After visiting multiple doctors, I was given medical treatments that caused unwanted side effects and did not address the root cause of the imbalances.

I was then introduced to a naturopathic doctor who helped me understand how my body was supposed to work and what it needed in order to function optimally. After implementing dietary changes and incorporating specific whole food supplements, my body began to heal and function the way it was designed to.

Shortly after this, I enrolled in the College of Natural Health and began to study more about the relationship between diet and disease. As I shared my story and my new-found passion, more and more people began to reveal their own frustrating journeys with health conditions.

Most experienced the traditional approach to medicine, which involved numerous drugs and complicated procedures that, at best, offered temporary relief from painful symptoms but did not address the root cause of problems to provide true healing. I was overcome with empathy for these individuals and knew I had found a passion I wanted to pursue for life. In 2010, Viafood was born as a way to share the message of health with as many people as are willing to hear it.

My husband and I both lost our parents to cancer, three of those losses occurring within a one-and-a-half-year time period. We understand the hopelessness individuals and families face in the midst of devastating health diagnoses.

Our hope is to encourage people to be their own health advocate and feel empowered to take control of their health and healing through nutrition education, lifestyle change, and prevention. We have had the great privilege of instilling the message of health in our three children, and we love spending time doing outdoor activities together.

In my free time, I enjoy running, resistance training, hiking, book club, sewing projects, piano, cooking healthy for my family, and most recently, ukulele. I live in beautiful Fort Collins, CO, where I work with clients over the phone and through video conferencing.
